The month of October in the Church is dedicated to Our Lady, as she so deeply desires to lead us into the heart of her Son. During this time, as a community of faith, we intensify our attention to Mary as our mother, and among many other things, she is our model of prayer and receptivity to the power of the Holy Spirit, and we recognize her purity of heart to trust in the Lord for all things.

Something new from our community this year, an opportunity to gather for prayer and praise. Join us on Thursday October 22, 6pm in the Church–we will pray and reflect this year with the various Apparitions of our Blessed Mother, like Fatima, Guadalupe, Lourdes etc., and sing songs of praise to the Lord for what He has done for us in Mary.

This will certainly be something unique, but comforting, and something worth preparing for. How is Mary inviting you to find refuge in her mantle? How is she desiring to be attentive to your heart? How might she call you deeper into the heart of her son?

Spend some time and trust that when we turn to our Mother, she will look at each of us the way she looks at her Son.

Spread the word! Invite a friend! Come pray with us.
